Application Procedures

To Download our rental application, RENTAL APPLICATION.

Every adult that plans on living in the rental must apply and qualify (excluding dependents).

We do NOT accept co-signers.

The application fee is $45 for the first applicant and $20 for each additional applicant. Application fees MUST be made in the form of a cashiers check or money order. We DO NOT ACCEPT CASH. Money orders can be purchased at most grocery and super stores or your local post office. We dot NOT accept personal checks until after lease has been signed.

Please fill out the entire application and sign where indicated which includes authorization for allowing Kitsap Property Management, Inc. to perform a credit check, to check rental references, and verify employment and income. Yes, we do need the 4th page signed as well if you are currently renting; we will fill out the rest of the information on that page.

Here is a list of items that must be submitted with your application:

  • Completed RENTAL APPLICATION.
  • Application fee in form of cashiers check or money order,
  • You will need to submit your pay stubs for the last two pay periods. If you do not have pay stubs because you are either self-employed, receive retirement income, or receive government subsidy please provide proof of all income in the form of either your last two bank statements or your previous year’s tax return.
  • A copy of a valid ID. Military IDs are not allowed to be copied. If you do not have a copier, a copy of your ID can be made in our office when you turn in your application. WE CANNOT PROCESS AN APPLICATION WITHOUT COPY OF VALID ID.

We will only take one application for a home at a time and it is first-come first-serve. If you are applying online, please make sure there are no other applications pending for the home you are applying for. Each applicant has 24 hours after their application is approved to hold the house with a deposit, after which we will open it up for others to apply and have their chance. If there is a pending application for a home you want to be a back-up applicant for, we can take your phone number and call you.

Your application can be turned-in to our office during business hours of Monday through Thursday 9am-4:45pm, and Friday 9am-12:00pm; dropped through our drop-box next to our front door after hours; emailed or faxed to us; or mailed to our PO Box 589, Port Orchard, WA 98366. We recommend that you do not turn in an application for a rental without seeing it first, unless you have been given prior authorization to do so.
